Posted on February 12 2017

Comme des Garçons, Vetements, and Goyard, just to name a few, are some of the biggest fashion houses in the game right now. They're constantly bringing new elements to the fashion scene which makes them sought-after brands by celebrities and fashion enthusiasts alike. The pressures are high when putting together the perfect look but that doesn't mean you have to break the bank to achieve those looks. Here are 3 three ways to keep up with the fashion scene without going into debt.
1. Find Alternatives
In order to be in fashion, you must KNOW fashion. Not just the latest trends or which materials pair but knowing the actual business nature of the fashion world. With this knowledge, you'll easy find that fast fashion is very prevalent which makes it easier to get your high fashion favorites at an affordable price.
2. DIY
There's nothing more empowering than bringing your own visions to life. Why not apply that to your wardrobe? DIY or "Do-It-Yourself" is an easy way to replicate that season's hottest trends while adding your own personal touch.
3. Pinch Your Pennies
There's nothing wrong with looking for discounts when shopping for your favorite pieces. So when you aren't able to find an appropriate alternative or if you don't trust your crafting skills, it's time to pinch your pennies by going thrifting! For more of a wardrobe boost, thrifting is a great place to find vintage pieces, that have inspired current trends, at a reasonable price.
